Question
I own a bmw e90 without the sports package and I'm considering changing my non-sport/non-multifunction steering wheel for the Sport/Multifunction version. Other than the new steering wheel/multifunction buttons/trim and airbag will I be needing anything else?

Answer
You will need to ask the dealer if this is compatible as if your car has not been wired for the extra accessories,it will not work.You will have the buttons that will not do anything.Also,you need to be careful with the airbag.This must be compatible with your car.I have never tried to change any steering wheel from spec so i dont know the procedure.Any BMW parts guy can tell you right away.
