Automotive - 2003 montero wont stay running

Expert: chris ehlerman - 4/13/2008

Question
starts but only runs for seconds then wait 3 -4 min same thing had oil changed did same thing they forgot to plug in sensor on air filter I checked that unpluged  and repluged  will start  then same thing

Answer
Hey smokey you will need to have the car scanned to find out where the trouble lies. You may have a problem in the engine management system, like the mass air flow or there may be a problem with the vehicle security system. The only way to determine where the problem is coming from is to have the cars computer system scanned for trouble codes. Good luck
