Question When buying tires recently, the shop called and said I needed an alignment, and I authorized them to do it. When I picked up the truck they showed me the computer printout on the alignment. The left front showed the toe was outside the specs by 0.05 degrees, and on the right the toe was outside the specs by 0.10 deg and the camber by 0.10 degrees. These seem like miniscule amounts. Do these numbers truly indicate an alignment is needed? I feel like I got taken for $50.00.
Answer normally toe ie measured by inches not degreees..
most trucks should be toe in 1/8" or less.
camber should be 1 degree +/-
make sure you keep your tires aired up to proper leveles and rotate them ebery 5000 miles.
good luck.
