Question im having a problem with my 1989 dodge Daytona. It runs good but out of the blue moon sometimes it just cuts off. no warning or anything. do you have any ideas what it my be. just to say i have a remote start on it can that be it
Answer It is possible that your 'Remote Start' is the culprit, but a bad 'Ignition Switch' could also cause the problem you are experiencing. If the 'Ignition Switch' isn't too expensive, it may be worth trying to install a new one, and see what happens. The 'Ignition Switch' on most cars is usually located below the 'Ignition Lock Cylinder', and may be connected to the 'Lock Cylinder' by a rod, or gear. Also, the 'Ignition Switch' on most cars, is NOT the thing you put the key in, but the item, as stated above, that is connected to the 'Lock Cylinder.'
