Question
I would like to know what kind of freon I need to buy and how to add it. It seems to be low now because doesn't get cold enough and summer is almost here. Thanks in advance for your help. Rick.

Answer
It could be R134A or R12,you need to be sure as the gas will not mix. When you know which, buy the refit kit at your local parts store and read the instructions very carefully as the system is under high pressure and DO NOT,fit the container on the high pressure side.Use the low side,if youre not sure its best to leave it to an expert.Your local shop. Its not such a simple job as you need to be sure you dont overfill or under fill the a/c.
