Automotive - Front end alignment

Question
I just had my half axles replaced on my 1985 Honda Civic wagon and was told to get a front end alignment as soon as possible.  I took the car to a Tire Warehouse for the alignment.  When I got it back they told me there was a sever pull to the left and I need to replace my tires due to cupping.
When I brought the car in this morning it was not pulling to the left and my steering wheel was centered.  After the alignment it does indeed pull to the left and my steering wheel is no longer centered.  Is this causing the pull to the left?  Isn't the steering wheel supposed to be centered?
Thanks,
Colleen

Answer
yes..a good alignment man should have centered the wheel for you..
also..try rotating your tires front to rear..air em up to 35psi
see if that helps..
Good luck..
