Question Hi, I bought a 2000 Renault Megan convertible three months ago and then found out i was pregnant, i now need to know if there is any way that the front airbags can be turned off as i need to be able to put a car seat in there. i have tried going to my local Renault garage but they are never open.

Answer Hello Emma unfortunately you will need the dealer to help you with this service or a shop specializing in Renault repair. The air bag can only be disabled by a factory scan tool or equivalent. Call the dealer to see if they can schedule this service for you.
