Question
Can I drain the transmission fluid all the way till its empty and fill it with new fluid? How much fluid does it take and should I change any filters when and if I do this.

Answer
You can drain %70.The fluid that is in the torque convertor cannot be drained unless you remove it.Most chevys have a filter which is accessable by removing the pan.Do not "flush" an auto transmission as this can cause all sorts of problems. The parts store will tell you how much this van will take.It varies by make, model.
