Automotive/Subaru Forester driver side window won't come up

Question
I tried to get the door panel off, but it doesn't come out easily. I don't want to force it unless I know that will be the way your're supposed to remove the panel.

Then I will need to replace/repair the window motor. It goes down with no trouble. To go up, it worked intermittently, usually after a lot of jiggling with the switch.

Any thoughts: first about removing the panel - then about what needs to be done about the motor/switch for the automatic window?

Answer
The motor needs replaced and removing the door panel will be easy once you remove all the screws. Some are hidden under tabs so you have to look.Simply insert a flat wide plastic tool under the panel at the left corner and start there.Pull it out and follow it all the way.The panel should pop off.
