Automotive/Tail light Fuse

Question
the tail light fuse on my 2002 nissan xterra keeps blowing. This same fuse runs the parking lights, the dash lights and the license plate lights.  my blinkers and brake lights are still working.
I do not have a trailer connection and have removed all bulbs and checked for shorts, thought the problem was fixed and went for a ride and when i got to about 40mph the fuse blew again.   Can you offer any advice?

Answer
There has to be a short somewhere so you need the wiring diagram.Usual causes are in the trunk as something may have been pushed in and snagged a wire in there.Look up under the front fenders and check for water in the lights.Sometimes they can have bad corrosion although 2002 it still may have rust.Other thing is the license plate lights, look there also.
