Question
my girlfriend has a 1997 suzuki esteem. the car would'nt start so i jumped her off. well 5minutes later it cut off again. i took the battery to auto zone and i charged it. well that lasted about one hour. could this be my alternator?
Answer
Check your alt belt first if its too loose it will not charge up..
also be sure your battery cables are clean.
your alt should put out about 14-16v while the engine is runnuing
