Question

I have replaced the oil filter housing on 1991 Plymouth acclaim. I removed the
old gasket between the engine and housing. I replaced the filter housing and
gasket. I tightened all 3 bolts, put new oil filter etc. and it leaks through
one bolt. Is there a torque spec on the 3 bolts? If so what is it? If not what
could be wrong?

Answer
There is a torque spec but nearly all the engine bolts such as these are light torque between 10-12 lbs, thats a snug tighten and not too much same as you would do with a spark plug. The reason it is leaking may be,the bolts need sealed by applying some sealer on the threads and then retighten them. All 3 of them.
