Question
Most of the time when I'm driving my Toyota camry 1988 above 20 or 30 MPH, the overdrive light starts to flash (on and off) and the car looses a lot of power. Does this has anything to do with the transmission? or do you think is just an electrical problem with the overdrive? Thank You for your time

Answer
The overdrive has a lot to do with the transmission .The engine should not lose power so i would recommend having the overdrive solenoid looked at.Have the transmission checked as well.A car this old may have transmisssion problems,so check it before it stops on the road.
