Question cars running hot seams 2 be biulding up pressure i turn it over with rad. cap off it pushes water out i take number 2 sparkplug out it does not. do you think it might be head gasket? or cracked head? 98 nissan altima
Answer Based on what you've told me, it sounds like a Compression leak into the Cooling sytem. A Mechanic friend of mine takes the Emissions Tester Wand from his Exhaust Analyzer, and holds it over the open Radiator Filler Neck, to find out if there are any combustion gases in the Coolant. If the Tester picks anything up, then he'll tear into the Engine to find the source.
