Automotive/water coming in on the floor

Question
i have a 2000 buick regal.for the past few months we've noticed water on the floor of the front seat passenger side of the car.this happens if it rains hard or i've been driving on very wet roads or,as is the case now,wet and slushy roads.it also seems to be affecting the heater fan,it also seems to be getting some moisture in it and freezing in the cold weather.we've replaced it twice and it was froze again today.we can't find any vents that are open and its only the floor that gets wet,not the top part of the carpet.any idea where the water may be getting inot the car? thanks

Answer
Possibly a leak at the windshield. As i am from Ireland,we get a lot of wet weather and have sealed many windshields with the same problem. The water will run down the inner chasis under the windshield and onto the floor as gravity will let it take the easiest route.Seal all the way around the rubber with a windshield sealant and the little gun that comes with it and it should stay dry.
