Question
QUESTION: I had my engine light checked at autzaone and it said Cylinders 1-6 missfire, Too Lean.

Now theres a a possible EGR Modulator connection missing because my friend put in a sub with only 3 ports if thats the case (I sent you a previous email exlaiming and asking if theres supoose to be a cvv port free or plugged in through the egr modulator, I'm still not sure what the however many ports the modulator should have.  It's the IMZ-FE engine on the 1994 Camry.

What do you suggest I should change or clean to fix the problem?

Thanks very much for all your help, youv'e been very helpful!

ANSWER: Explain "sub"?You cannot substitute parts from other engines as they will not work. The engine and intake were designed specifically for your engine. The components are there to make it run correctly and many are not interchangeable.A lean system can cause serious engine damage and needs to be repaired immediately or "detonation" can occur which will destroy your pistons or bores.

QUESTION: (Sub) Replaced the original engine with the same type from Toyota Auto Parts.

Do you know if it's possible to reuse the same ignition coils by cleaning it, if so how to you clean them?

ANSWER: You can use any electrical parts from other cars.As long as they are the same model, year, engine. This car has a distributor, ignition module/igniter,cap and rotor. The coil will be sealed and the only part you can clean will be the outside and the small post/terminal for the coil wire.

QUESTION: So what things would I have to check for or replace with a Lean Mixture and All cylinders Missfiring to fix the problem?

Are OBD 2 preety realialble, I got these codes (up above from it)?

Answer
The lean mix is probably because of a major air leak into the manifold. You will need to do a vacuum check and repair that.Check the hoses are all hooked up to the correct components and especially the MAF.Check the evap is working and the obd is reliable.
