Question This morning the light came on for brake pads on my 2002 Z3 3.0.1
roadster. Does that mean for front and rear? Do I have to get it done immediately? Can you provide an idea as to cost? Oh, if the brake fluid is low, I could add some but I don't know where the reservoir is located. If the fluid is low and is added, will the light go out?
Thanks.
Answer The pads could be worn either front or rear as this car has sensors on both axles. You will need to look at both and replace asap.Do not add fluid as the fluid will elevate as the calipers are retracted.Check fluid when the new pads are installed.Cost varies for this car.Depends who does it,dealer or shop.
