Question
i'm replacing power brake booster on my 2003 ford expedition,do i have to bleed the brake system after, and how? thank you so much..

Answer
If you can carefully push the Master Cylinder far enough forward to get the Booster out, then you can avoid disconnecting the Brake Lines, and avoid having to bleed the System. If you have to remove the Master Cylinder, try to plug off the Ports where the Lines thread in, before too much fluid leaks out of the Master Cylinder, and be carefull not to disturb the Lines themselves while they're off the Master. When you reconnect the the Lines, get the Lines back into their respective Ports on the Master Cylinder as quickly as possible, while not stripping the Threads on the Line Fittings, or in the Master Cylinder. As long as you get the Lines back on, before the Master can drain completely, you shouldn't have to bleed the system, just top off the Master Cylinder.
