i have a 1994 ford f150 4x4 with a 4r70w auto tranny i am going to put a used tranny in it will other years work if so which ones?
This truck has a vin # and the only transmissions that will fit will have to be the same matching vin.There are many different variations on this truck and some look the same but will have different drive shafts and different bell housings.I do not know why Ford chopped and changed but thats it,match the vin and it will work.
