Question Hi Sean, I have a ford cougar when i use the aircondition it get overheated, and when i stop the car after using the aircondition all the water come out of the return bottle, i would like to mention that when i switch the car off the fan stop working eventhough it is overheated, do you reckon it is the thermostate fo the car that need to be replaced or the gauge on the radiator? kind regards
Answer It could be the fan switch or it may be the cooling system needs more work.Depending on the mileage,it would be a good idea to test the fan switch and change the thermostat anyway.Make sure the fan engages when the engine is running so you can eliminate that possibility. If it works ok then change the thermostat.
