Question
im a tow truck driver and have yet to figure out how to get newer model bmws into neutral after its been in an accident. the cars wont start or shift. it like they go into a shutdown mode. please if you can heLp

Answer
Most will not shift until the engine is restarted but the usual way is step on the brake with key on.If you cannot start the engine then its manually release the shift from under the car.At the transmission.Remove the shift cable from the gearbox and shift the lever by hand.I know your problem is getting them on flatbeds and most are rear wheel drive,so,i seen most guys just drag them on with the winch.
