Question
We thought it was our battery. But now have a new battery in it and it still makes no noise when we try to start the car. We were told to check the starter but we dnt know where it is...?
Thanks

Answer
Generally, the Starter is located along the back of the Engine, where it meets the Transmission. If you have a rear wheel drive vehicle, it can only be on one of two sides, Passenger's side, or Driver's side. If you have a front wheel drive vehicle, then the Starter is either on the Radiator side (front) of the Engine, or Firewall side (rear) of the Engine, and again, it would be near the point where the Engine and Transmission meet. Follow the Positive Battery Cable from the Battery, and it should run to the Starter.
