Question
HI
My 97 maxima is 117k miles,, i just changed the following,,
temp or coolant sensor,fuel-filter,spark-plugs,air-intake filter, changed the radistor cap.

After doing all this i have starting problem..

Morning or if the car is completly cooled down after 2-3 hrs,,i try to start it ,the motor turns but not start,i have to pump the gas paddle and it starts with some missing or vibration for a 2-5 mins, then when the car is moving and it will run fine, but with some missing as if spark plug is not firing, then turn it off and strat it back it turns on fine,,,plzzzz help

Answer
If your Maxima has a Fuel Pressure Regulator in the system, it is possible that it is malfunctioning, and dumping excess Fuel into system. You may also have a cracked Spark Plug, but generally that type of problem is not transient in nature. Other than that, I'd recommend scanning the Vehicle Computer for a Fault Code, and see what it turns up.
