Question
on a cold morning 8deg. my car stalled and sputtered as if it ran out of gas.both the fuel pump and filter are new as well as plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and air filter. i managed to get it to start about 1 in 20 attempts it idles fine but develops a slight misfire but as soon as the throttle is depressed it sputters and dies. some attempts were succesful to get full throttle but as soon as it went to drive it sputterd and died. once the car is started it will restart pretty easily unless you try to give it gas then it dies and takes forever to start. any ideas as to what is wrong?

Answer
How does it do when it is not cold?Your problem could be fuel pressure. You will need to test the pressure as the car idles.Make sure the MAF sensor is connected and all vacuum lines are ok.Could also be a bad fuel pressure regulator.Check the vacuum hose to the regulator isnt leaking fuel.
