Question
my truck got stolen when i got it back the ignition was gone. and i tilted the steering wheel and one of the smaller ignition wires ground out and burned the coating off down to bare wire its the tan wire with white stripe and now i have no power to the ignition or windows or a-c or radio. i checked the fuses and there all good so is there another fuse to check or what do i do ?

Answer
Your best bet would be to rewire the ignition as theres no way to tell what damage has been done by the wire shorting out.If you take the complete wiring loom from the ignition and remove it from the switch forward,up to where it joins the bulkhead then replace it.The wiring is available from a junk yard as i have did this on one recently and they are not too hard as everything will plug in easily.Simply find the right year and model and get the loom from the ignition to the front of the car and check that there is no damage further in the engine compartment.
