Question
My engine light is on...Had a scanner check to see if the problem was a loose gas cap...He discovered problems in P1250, P1189 and P1188...Can you help me please?

The codes p1188 and p1189 are fuel control for bank no1.The p1250 is a manufacturer code and this tells you the component is outside the range it was designed for.Possibly a o2 sensor but this is a job for further diagnostics.These codes are for the fuel injection system and must be repaired as you do not want the car running rich or lean.This must be repaired by a shop as you may also have problems with the MAF,sensor but only the high tech diagnostic machine which shops have will tell you.
