Question
I'm trying to remove the passenger side tail light assembly. I've removed the two screws according to the owner's manual that came with the car, and given it some shots with the side of my hand that the manual suggests, but the assembly still does not come off. I don't want to break the assembly. Is there something I am missing in trying to remove this thing? Thanks so much.

Answer
I would check inside the trunk to make sure there are no more screws. If the book says it comes off that way then it may be tight.Try some wd40 in the gap at the extreme ends where the tabs are. These are pushed into a plastic holder and do get tight after a while.Try using a plastic wedge.
