QUESTION: Thanks for getting back the problem is I am not getting cold air this year and last year was nice and cold please tell me the steps to take to have this repaired
AnswerThe only solution is have the system serviced by a professional a/c technician as you will not be able to do this yourself. You will need to have the a/c checked for leaks before you put any gas in,otherwise it will leak again and waste your money. The machine that the shop uses to find leaks ,is way beyond the price that the average person can pay,$5000,roughly is what it costs. Also, the system can be dangerous as it is under very high pressure and if you dont know what you are doing it can cause injury.Best to have it done right and if a shop does fix it you have their warranty.Your a/c problem is low R134.Thats why it isnt getting as cold, hence a possible leak.
