Question
My lexus gets the smell of gas in the driving compartment.  I have had the fuel lines checked and the engine and there are no leaks.  I notice it more when the gas tank has less  fuel in it.  Are there any gaskets or seals that should be changed or would stop this from happening.  Sometimes it can be very strong and even overwhelming.

Answer
There are injection seals and fuel line couplings but if you checked them all and they are ok then the only other possible cause could be the evap system.Check the evap lines. If there is a leak on the evap, the check engine will come on,so im puzzled why you get the smell.Check under the car at the tank for leaks.Especially the filler hose.
