Question
2003 volkswagon jetta retains water on driver's side after it rains. The car has a sunroof that does not open; only the floor gets wet (front and back on driver's side only) we will need to check the seals around the window and door. Is there a recall regarding this program? What are the reliability reviews on the year and model? Is this repair expensive? Is it worth keeping the car or it this a possible lemon?  Please help.  thanks! Jackie

Answer
One reason is the sunroof even though it doesnt open. The roof has 2 drains and at the front, small holes, either side, which get blocked with dust and dirt.Take a long wire and clean them out.Other possibility is the windshields around the rubbers. As far as recalls,im not sure as for being a lemon, that depends on what else is wrong with the car.Do you have many problems with it?Personally,i do not think these are a good car.You will need to get the roof open to clean the drains.
