Automotive/Craked brake pads

Question
Hello,

I was recently told that my Ford Freestar has heat craked rear brakes.
Will it still be safe to drive, or should I get them fixed immediately?

Answer
Cracked brake linings are due to overheating the brakes.Either too much load such as a truck or driving with the e brake engaged. It can also be caused by cheap linings which will deteriorate quicker than high quality brake pads.I would replace them with a good set such as mintex, ferodo, ebc,or a higher priced set.
