Question
my cruiser overheats when I use my AC.  The radiator is full and when I flick on the heater the engine cools to normal.could it be a burned out fan?

Answer
Either the Fan, or the Fan Relay may be bad. The Fan is usually controlled by a temperature sensitive Switch, set to go on at whatever temperature the vehicle manufacturer has decided is at the point where the coolant temp needs to stay around. If that sensor gors bad, and they do, the Fan won't come on when it is supposed to. A Chiltons, or Haynes Manual for your make, model and year of vehicle, should tell you exactly how the Fan is controlled, and where the Sensor is located.
