Question
what will a blown intake gasket do to my 1994 dodge ram it idles rough and loses power about halve throttle but if you get down on it it does fine its just a certain point in pedal it does it. it sounds like i have a bad vacuum leak but i checked them good.

Answer
It may be a vacuum leak or blown intake gasket, but i would look at other possibilities such as egr valve, bad plugs, wires, distributor, fuel pressure regulator.A blown intake gasket will cause a large air leak into the engine and raise the idle very high.
