Question
QUESTION: The air bags went off in my '96 Pontiac Grand Prix, and I'm replacing the air bag sensors, however, I cannot seem to locate them for the life of me. Care to shed some light on my poor situation?

ANSWER: The crash sensors will be behind the front bumper so you may have to remove the bumper to find them.Look behind the grille and at the right front side of the bumper.

QUESTION: We still couldn't locate them, is their location illustrated in the owner's manual? We were also informed that there is an airbag module underneath the seat. The airbag light is off.

Answer
The module will be inside the car possibly under the seat, some front and some are in the rear. The sensors are definately behind the bumper as they would need to be in the event of a crash.Did you look under the splash panels and behind the grille?Look dead center.
