Question
my car loses power going uphill even with the gas pedal all the way to the floor.

Answer
Does the rpm stay the same or go higher? It may be a slipping transmission.Im assuming it is automatic. If this is so,check the atf level.Loss of engine power can be many things such as egr fault, vacuum leaks, poor compression worn engine/valve train components, blocked fuel filter. What mileage is on this car?
