Question
QUESTION: My 1999 Plymouth voyager was spuddering and stalling I changed plugs ,coil pack, and fuel pump on advise from others but it would start what should I do?

ANSWER: You need to check 3 things.Firstly test the fuel pressure with a proper gauge. If the pressure is approx 45psi at the rail, look at the spark using a spark tester or probe if you have dis.Test compression of all cylinders.Test all of these and let me know what you find.

QUESTION: I changed plugs and checked the pressure before I got ur email reply but no luck. But some said it could be the timing chain how can I tell if that's true I am running out of $$$

Answer
Check the chain by removing the valve covers and turn the crank by hand. You need to pull out the plugs to make it easier to turn.Watch the cams to see if they are turning as you turn the crank.Check the engine is at tdc and #1 cyl is at the correct setting. With #1 at tdc look to see if both #1 cyl valves are in the corrct position, that is closed at the fire stroke. If the timing is wrong then the chain may have jumped the teeth on the sprockets.
