I have 1988 buick Park av 3.8 won't start replaced crank sensor.
what else could it be

  WOW, there are a number of things that could prevent your vehicle from starting. I will list my thoughts. Please remember, I'm a Parts Professional, NOT a tech. OKAY?? Here we go..
1. No fuel in the tank.
2. Defective fuel pump.
3. Clogged fuel pump sock.
4. Clogged fuel filter.
5. Defective distributor cap.
6. Defective ignition rotor.
7. Defective coil wire.
8. Defective ignition module.
9. Defective ignition coil.
10. Defective throttle position sensor.
11. Defective idle air control motor.
  Bob, as you can see, the list could go on an on. When the engine died, was the "check engine" light on? If it was, it probably "set" a code in the computer. You need to pull that code from the computer on the car to see what it says. This may give you some direction.
  I know this is a vague answer but you didn't supply much information except the vehicle won't start and you replaced the crank sensor.
  You didn't state if it had fuel or spark. This is important information especially trying to diagnose a problem via a letter.
