Automotive/adjustment bubble

Question
What is the bubble for on top of the headlights I bought & how do they work,I loosened up the three screws & turned the dial but the bubble didn't move ?

Answer
Those are levels, and when the bubble is in the middle of the Level, the Headlight should be aimed correctly. If you loosened the correct screws, and a'Chiltons', or 'Haynes Manual', covering your Make, Year, and Model of vehicle, should show what screws to loosen, then as you turn the Adjustment Knob, the bubble inside the Level, should move one direction, or the other. Once the bubble is centered, the Headlight assembly should be aimed correctly, and then you tighten the screws for the Adjustment Knob.
