QUESTION: passenger side window not working on 1989 toyota space cruiser (van). do the windows have seperate fuses, if so where are they located on car ? there are no fuses in fuse box for windows or moonroof. many thanx .

ANSWER: Check under the dash for fuses.If the fuse is ok,its most likely the switch.Put 12v current direct to the motor with the panel removed to confirm the motor is working first.

QUESTION: hi sean, thanx for advice. the motor is fine but it seems that there is no power gettin to switch. can you be a bit more specific on exact location of fuses, i looked under dash and took off as many panels to it as i could but still cant find them. cheers.

There must be a fuse for the windows as all electrical systems will have one.The fuses work on 2 sides,usually left 2 and right 2 or sometimes rear and front.Look under the dash by the drivers side kick panel left side and under drivers right foot.Sometimes they are inside the dash at the windshield as on the toyota previa.I do not have any technical info on this vehicle so if you can get a handbook or manual and check there.Or,simply call the dealer and ask him nicely to tell you where they are hidden.There are some odd places where fuses are put such as ,trunk,center consol,behind foot panels,behind ash trays etc,,,
