Question
i am in the process of putting a new timing chain on my 1975 dodge dart slant 6 but have never put one on. what sort of tension should i expect to see and the procedure on putting the chain on. thank you

Answer
The chain usually comes with the 2 sprockets and needs no adjustment. You will need to remove all the front parts of the engine and then the timing cover.Belts, pulleys etc,if you are not sure ,you can get a manual pretty cheap on ebay.Haynes or Chiltons.
