Question
am tyring to remove spark plugs from a 2004 Buick lasabre and cant get the plug wire off the end of the plug.  these plugs also have what appears to be a plastic sleeve around them with the wire boot entering it in the end.  how do i get the wire and sleeve off so i can change the plugs.

thanks for your help

Steve

Answer
They will simply pull off but if the wires have been on for a long time they can be stubborn. You have to get a pair of needle nose pliers and grab the side of the boot then twist from side to side and pull at the same time.A good anti seize compound grease applied on the boots before you replace them will prevent this next time.DO NOT pull the wire as it will break.
