Question
I have an 89 accord with a bad coolant leak at the intake manifold.  It seems to be coming from a small black freeze plug (about the size of a quarter) on the underside of the manifold.  Will the manifold have to be replaced or can this part be changed without removing the manifold entirely?

Answer
If it is on the under side ,then it would be best to remove it.It is easily replaced. Most are removed with a screw driver or sharp chisel, and a new one is installed with some sealant. If you tap it in the centre and prise it out.Be careful not to damage the sides of the plug hole.
