Question
I have a 91 Acura Integra, it has 250000 miles. The other day I was driving home from work after the car had warmed up and as I was driving the temperature started to drop back down.  This was as I was going down a mountain, also the heat was as hot as normal.  After I reached the bottom of the mountain the temp went back to normal and the heat also started working as it would normally.  Please tell me what might be wrong.

Answer
Nothing wrong if the temp went down.Less strain on the engine means less heat as going down hill will do that but if the temp goes up then thats a problem.Normal driving the temp should stay in the middle. When you say the heat went back to normal i assume you mean the heater?Check your coolant level and top off as normal.
