Automotive/93 honda prelude 4ws

Question
I recently bought a 93 prelude and it has been great to me until today, whenever the rpm drops down the car cuts right off. I mean, the car would die and stop running and the idle is messing up when u start it. it goes high and low but not past 1000rpm. I also have to refill the coolant every other day and it'll be empty again. and plus before it cuts off, the oil light blinks. so I don't know what is going on... I was told that I might have a blown head gasket but I kinda wanna make sure before I go through a lot of work. and my temp. gage is rising and going back to normal too without even me doing anything particular at all. please help me out.

Answer
It sounds like a blown head gasket so you will have to go to a shop to have a leak down test done before you do actually replace the head gasket. This is where your coolant is leaking, out the head gasket and into the cylinders or it could also be the intake manifold as this is also water cooled.Either way,you will need to have it looked at and do not let the engine go in the red or you will cause major damage.
