Question
Hello,

I have a 94 S-10 Blazer 4X4. My front driver side doors power window has an issue with opening and shutting. When I try to open it, it will open a few inches then the power slowly dies off like it has it's own PS or running on a dieing battery. I then have to either drive around awhile or let it sit awhile, and then it may roll all the way up or only part of the way, and I then have to repeat the process untill i get it to roll up. The passenger side windows work fine, and the driver side rear door will very occasionally have the same problem. The battery is sound.

Is the front driver side p-w motor getting hot and just siezing up, or is it a connection issue?

One more thing. How does the front driver side panel come off? When I try to remove it, it feels like I'm going to break it as I'm removing it.

Answer
I suspect the motor is on it's way out. there is a possibility that something is binding in the window guide that makes the motor work harder also. The panels have nylon posts that use a pressure fit into the holes on the inner door metal-skin. there is a tool you can get to help removal. stop at your library and check out a service manual. check also that there isn't a hidden screw that you may have missed. good luck
