Question
I was told my my dealership that the timeing belt MUST be changed at 100,000 kms. I'm so close and starting to worry. $300 Cdn is what they want...should I worry? The car runs OK, needs tuneup soon but great little car, Thanks

Answer
sorry i thought i sent the answer to you but it mustnt have went ,,so the timing belt usually needs changed every 50000 miles for safety, newer cars can go 70000 before they need changed but your car is best at 50000,,,,,,,,300 sounds about right and its a lot cheaper than a belt breaking,,it causes a lot of damage.
