Question
Hello Mr. Halliday-

Thank you for taking my question.  How do I remove the cooland hose @ the intake manifold?  I have removed the alternator and removed the hose from the back side of the water pump, but can't figure out how to get to the intake manifold side for removal w/ out having to take off the entire fuel injection pod.

Thank you again for your expertise.

Matthew

Answer
You will have to remove it if it is in the way.Theres no easy way but the injector rail should come off in one piece.Without disturbing the injectors individually .Its usually a good time to replace the intake manifold gasket anyway. So,remove the manifold /injector rail/hoses/vacuum pipes and replace all gaskets and hoses as you re-assemble it.Inspect all the injector seals for dirt and replace if you think they are worn or leaking.
