Question
I have a 1998 (S Reg) Vauxhall Vectra. The on board computer in the dash displays "brake light" and "pads" all the time, we had the brake pads changed but the lights still come on. Could you give us a solution on how to solve the problem. Or if you could let us know how to reset it.

Many thanks!

Answer
Did you replace the sensors at the same time as the pads if not, that could be the problem or it may be a loose wire to the pad/s on the sensors. The light should reset itself if the brakes have been replaced so as for the brake bulb, that may be a bad earth or faulty light socket at the brake lights.Did you ask a shop?I assume you are in the UK.
