Automotive/Car problem

Question
Hi. I drive a 1995 eagle talon and lately (a few days) i noticed that every time after driving my car gave off a slight scent of burning rubber from under the hood. Today, when i started the car, it made some sort of whistling/grinding noises. When the engine was revved up to 3000 rpm it made an unpleasant grinding noise as well. All the noises go away in a few minutes. I just spent 2000 dollars on engine repairs and this is kind of frustrating. Can you please tell me what seems to be wrong with my car? Hopefully you will find the information I provided sufficient.

Answer
Unfortunately,i cannot diagnose noises unless i hear them.I would check all the belts and hoses and make sure they are not touching the exhaust. The smell could be hoses or really any rubber components under the hood.If you spent that much why not go to whoever did the work?.Any warranty? My guess is it is something like a pulley or water pump.Listen and look as the engine starts up and try to pinpoint it that way.Either from the front or what part of the engine.Sorry cant do more for you.
