Automotive/Doesn't always go

Question
I have a 2002 Montero Sport.  Sometimes in the mornings when I go to work, or in the afternoon for lunch, when I start it up and press on the gas, it takes a second to actually go.  It's like a 'mini' stall I guess.  Is this a big problem, or is my SUV just tempramental?  Also, whenever I turn on my AC it makes a rackety noise, kind of like a playing card on the spokes of a bicycle.  I don't have a clue what could cause any of this...

Thanks!

Answer
Without actually seeing or hearing the noise i would be guessing.Look at the belt as the A/C is turned on and it may give you an idea whats hitting or it may be the blower has picked up something inside the car or something has gone in the vent.As for the stall, have the car serviced and the fuel filter changed that might help.New plugs, and a general filter change ,oil and filter, especially the fuel and air filter as they might be dirty.
